Style: Arts and Crafts, 1905-1925

Masterpiece: Gamble House, 1908, Pasadena, CA

Greene and Greene, architects. This house set the trend for the Craftsman style that is prevalent today, especially on the west coast.

 

Vernacular example: in Biddeford, ME This is a derivation known as the Bungalow style, which is very common throughout the country.
